For the price it was good and the bed was comfortable. The cheapest way to get from Hemet to Aquarius Casino Resort is to drive which costs $45-$70 and takes 4h 34m. Had a great view of Bullhead City and of the river itself. I asked the pit boss to open up more tables but was told they couldn't. WiFi was poor. The casino is nice and the games are pretty much the same as all casinos now. Nice looking hotel. Someone took her phone from her purse, most likely in the elevator. Parking is good, as are the restaurants. Although free, it does add some time to your check in/out. It stunk! Had dinner at the Outback Steak house in the casino. McDonalds located at the hotel surprised that it wasn't very clean. One of my favorite river casinos. We also did a little gambling in the Casino and it was very nice. I understand housekeeping may be short staffed due to Covid, but a least the hallways could be vacuumed. The thing that urked me is the constant smell of pot on the floor ( it was a non smoking floor) I complained to security, but as you know it is tough to pinpoint what unit it would be. Reception Bit of a walk from car park to reception and unsure if we were going the right way! Hallways never get vacuumed, Got moved to new room only to have come to find out that the maintenance dept is working on you were just in and now water coming threw the ceiling. Our room on the 17th floor had excellent views of the Colorado River and the mountains. No worries there was plenty to eat. Manager seemed "mystified" and seemed to lack any deportment expected of a manager. Outback Steakhouse is always a great idea for dinner also. The water taxi stand is right outside of the California Tower. No where to sit and the pool was over run by kids!!! We requested adjoining rooms which were granted. And the trip would not be complete with a stop in Kingman, Az which has many attractions along the original Route 66. The on-site parking garage was handy. Great spot on the River Walk, nice restaurants etc. Also, on last night there, there was some type of work going on at 4 am through 8 am, couldn't sleep because of the noise; buzz saws and hammering. They have two towers, an Adult Only tower and I'm guessing though it's not identified, a family tower. Fast friendly check in, clean room with comfortable beds and a lovely view of the Colorado river, what more could you ask for. The pool is always packed. We will not stay there ever again. Follow through.not so much. Staff was courteous and helpful. This resort is old, the rooms are dated, we got upgraded to the 1200 square foot Majestic Suite, trust me there is nothing Majestic about it. That called revenue loss for the Aquarius if your service scares of your guest to other establishments. Pro: * A lot of Panoramic View rooms available. The price was good (booking directly at the hotel site). Staff were friendly, free drinks were good and food was typical buffet fare. the waiters walked by constantly and never looked at us or acknowledged us. Those employees made my trip fun. None to very little play. Maybe I expect too much in the area of cleanliness. We liked the river walk that was accessible at the back of the motel. Check in had long line but moved quickly. This is NOT a LUXURY accommodation!! We asked the front desk worker around 9:30pm where the pool was, he gave us directions but regretted to inform us that the pool area was closed at 7pm. Everyone was so friendly from Valet to check in to every other team member I encountered great customer service. The other is that if you are looking for lower table limits, you may need to go offsite. We had the room facing the river and were able to pull the curtains back and enjoy the view of the river. At this price point, I think the accommodations represent a good value. Will never stay here again. Waiting until 3:00 PM again attempting to check in I was told only a room on the less desirable floor was available and I could take it or they would be glad to cancel my reservation. It was really annoying. The buffet was really good and the staff was also super nice. The casino got most of the gamesmaybe around 800+ slot machine and over 20 table games. Here for one night only, fortunately! Pricing of most things is very affordable especially if you are used to Vegas. Also, the crowd is much older than you might expect or that is portrayed on the website. They advertise "Free Wi-Fi" but it is too slow for anything but reading e-mail or texting. There were only three people behind the counter to check people in and there were plenty of check in stations that should have been staffed. Each room has hair dryers, refridgerator, free Wi-Fi. Weekend gate away with my love. Nice pool area and again very clean. A room full with over 300 people cleared out, in dismay. The beds were excellent and the sheets appeared fresh and crisp, with sensible pillows - not the ones that are so plump you cannot sleep straight! They do expect you to have a mask on at all times throughout the hotel. I didn't try the buffet, but I'm sure I will next trip. McDonald's and Subway open late if you need something quick and an Outback. Also, the hotel does not have good filtration, the smoke was thick and would linger. Ice bucket in the room is a non-insulated plastic container with no lid, similar to a large cottage cheese container. Also, some decent bands playing in showroom with no admission charge. He added my name to the res, took my ID, And my husbands card info. The check in for us was perfect. These people overbooked their hotel because of low room rates from third parties. Location was excellent and pool was fun. As in all big hotels, there is no need to leave because the variety of food and attractions is great. We had booked on Expedia for $42 Cdn and upgraded to partial river view for $10 more. In the past it was usually dead. All day I was given only two drinks that I ordered out of asking for many for my wife and I and they server just walked away..period! McDonalds was way understaffed. Anyway this is what you get when you were in laughlin. We enjoy this hotel for a getaway weekend. Access to the water taxi, a pool, restaurants, bars, gambling. Our room was just average and somewhat worn looking. The room was only $50, but they need to be renovated. Awesome. Stayed 4 days/3 nights. We will be looking for another hotel today. Not much money involved but hard feelings after spending $200 plus in their restaurants. DONE WITH THE AQUARIUS. On a previous stay, they had tried to put us in the California tower. The Aquarius refused to accept a prepaid and confirmed reservation I booked via Priceline. The Sheetrock in the shower was hanging down from the ceiling. The staff is no longer friendly as they never greet you or call you by name throughout the hotel and restaurant, bars and casino floor. sometimes hard to get what you ask for, certain tower, or adjoining rooms when making reservations. The hotel is nicely located so there is plenty to do, within walking distance in almost any direction. this being my first time there i was impressed. We were guests at the hotel today and even paid for good friends of ours to stay there and have their wedding there in Dec 2017! It isn't fancy but is cheap and clean. On what was supposed to be our 4th day we left and checked in at the Laughlin River Lodge. When I checked out the desk clerk was surprised, he said 10% at all the restaurants. The hotel has his own parking garage so no worries to park our bikes. As I said previously the casino seemed smokey and seemed to stay that way to varying degrees for entire visit. Only two downsides to note. We got a discount coupon for breakfast buffet when we got Player cards. Drove in from California and had an easy checkin with quick moving line. I've frequented it (way) more than once. Would go again and stay here! Compared to Vegas, Laughlin is much more laid back and relaxed. Everyone was very friendly from the check-in folks to the cocktail waitresses. We were there on a Saturday night and ate at Windows for the all you can eat crab legs, etc. If a hotel advertises room service, they should offer proper room service with plates and silverware. Hotel room was nice, albeit very dusty. A resort fee of 19.00 per day?? Avoid at all costs. We stayed here 3 years ago and loved it then too. This isn't the Ritz, but a decent room with good restaurant options and a good casino with a wide selection of machines to play. We called the front desk on the second day and asked if maintenance could come and check our air conditioner out since only got air was coming out. I wasn't expecting 4 star hotel as this is Laughlin and most of the casinos look pretty rundown. I will stay here again. Staff was friendly, portions were generous. Last, all the food outlets have a great range to choose from. Just returned from 2 night stay at the Aquarius Hotel/Casino in Laughlin NV. When we visited many years ago, it was nice. Access to the Riverwalk is easy as well as to other casinos, the river cruises and other activities. We booked a room here for an overnight stay on the motorcycle to hit Hoover dam, then Oatman. Room 3 - Broken tub faucet. This hotel is quiet well kept and the bedrooms are super comfortable. I called down to reception, thinking we had been given a smoking room in error. I love the bedding, I'm picky about my bedding as I want to be able to sleep as well or better in my hotel room than at home. All employees were friendly and dinner at Outback was very good. We will not be returning. Look for BW to upgrade the place and change the fabric of Laughlin. I've stayed and played here many times but on this visit I was extremely disappointed. The food is good but it just take a little time. was staying at a different casino so just walked over to the aquarius and gambled and went to the club to watch a band perform. Wouldn't give me 15% of my room. Everything else a complete cluster from the parking, check in, and trying to eat breakfast at the hotel cafe. Staff was friendly enough but it was just a depressing hotel. River view is the best. This is not a difficult issue to solve but they appear unwilling or incapable of doing that. Just an awesome experience. Was so lovely seeing these wild animals who look cute but you don't want to get too close. Totally shocked and disgusted therefore checked out a day early as we are Senior Citizens and do not want to stay in an establishment where this happens. Before I arrived to the hotel I called to make sure that my husband and I could check in our room at 1am in the morning. Room was clean and offered both a river view and view of the mountains, Air Conditioner was working quite well - even had to tone it down a bit. I noticed after you leave a Slot Machine it is wiped down to assure the next guest can feel safe. We tipped the front desk agent a few $ and we're given the top floor in Arizona tower (family tower), room 18062. Try to avoid the chain restaurants within the Hotel as they are, what they are. Outback has never been very good but now it is horrible. Air con was really noisy. SO Ridiculous! Visited the Aquarius for the New Year's celebration. Went to the snack area to let them know I need a clean towel, the guy would not acknowledge me at the pool area snack bar.SO I go back to the area were all the dirty towels were..Found some small cloth that I could dry with. A refrigerator, coffee maker, and large TV are included. I hope they will install check-in automatic kiosks in the future. The McDonalds is one of the most expensive restaurants in the hotel??? I main hotel for the tourney is the Edgewater next door but this hotel is nicer. There is an indoor parking area but I feel better in full public view. Maintenance came to fix. We had to turn the mattress and still it wasn't good. VERY friendly staff. I go to Laughlin at least yearly and usually stay at the Aquarius.
Fishing, boating and all the great things that Vegas offers but at a price that makes you feel as if you're not being Robbed. When we arrived at the hotel I went in to check in. Wifi is spotty and intermittent throughout the hotel. The Aquarius has great promotions which enable us to get to Laughlin every couple of months. The rooms are a good size and the only thing that needs a little help is the location of the toilet paper roll in the bathroom. When we checked into our room, all was fine, looked clean. I had intended to use the pool but on our first full day it was closed due to the wind. Not a disaster, but dated and just doesn't seem clean. We were on the 7th floor with the riverview. So, I can recommend that this is a good hotel for business. The staff needs to attend an comprehensive "CUSTOMER SERVICE & HOSPITALITY" training session.
I was surprised when two servers on two different days did not know how to charge out my bill to my room (as the pool is for hotel guests only.) I was able to use the pool the next day but I spoke with other guests that had been there for days and the pool was closed. No sweets were available, odd for 2 mo. Do I have to wear a face mask on public transport in Aquarius Casino Resort? The staff is trained to provide superior service. They didnt have cream cheese one morning. His reply was it was "ON ME" that I didn't wait around to get anything fixed. The cocktail service on the floor was great. Basically, with this one, I'd say just don't over-expect, and don't rely on their VERY misleading website pictures. View from our 11th floor room was amazing. The pool was large and fairly new. We had view of the river and strip. Only 2 people were staffing the front desk while hundreds waited in line. Don't get there later than 8:30 though. The buffet was also terrible. Fun casino, great restaurant options in all price ranges. We were there on a Wed and Thurs night so things were pretty slow.so you could move around and find open slot games. The staff is helpful, the rooms are nice, the nightlife there is fun and the pool nicely relocated to be overlooking the river. A strip of hotels it sit on the Riverwalk in the Colorado river a nice change of scenery. Bed was a little hard for my back, but next time I'll ask for a different room if I have that issue. 99% of guests followed mask rules which is always good to see. . The view from our table was very nice. Slots were older models and we decided we wont be visiting that facility again. We would go back to this casino. Stayed here and had a very pleasant stay. Free valet parking and the attendants are always no nonsense and get the vehicles in a timely manner. So I go back up and get into the room. It took us an hour and a half to check in because there were three desk attendants yet there were approximately 15 check in counters. She then offered to carry my Valet ticket. Had an awesome stay. Totally unacceptable. When we returned everything went accordingly. The rooms are starting to take some wear and tear but they are always clean. Unfortunately, it wasn't for us. Stayed 2 nights, because of a good deal. If you continue to use this site we will assume that you are happy with it. Staff are friendly, easy And close parking, good security staff, very decent restaurants, The elevators are excellent and fast. The girl said that wasn't necessary and checked me in. Nothing had gone right so far during this stay, so at the very least we wanted to take a dip in the hot tub which was marketed as staying open until midnight.
