In fact their heavy duty steel cyclone has 5" in and 6" out, which they said is ideal. This is what I use on the outlet of my 600cfm wen dust collector pulling through an oneida super dust deputy on a 30 gal barrel. But those same threads say that the Wynn filters are a PITA to clean. There are 2 that I know of, one from Rikon that has been next to impossible to get, and when available costs almost as much as the dust collector, and one from Wen, the 3403-22 Turbofan. Once a month, maybe every 6 weeks, I'll remove the top and use my shop vac to suck the dust off the Wynn filter material after I have blown the majority of it off with compressed air from the outside and the dust settles inside the unit.
