For the back one, the flat part of the post faces the back of the house. My inspiration, here, was the fact that the house, as-is, really has too small of a footprint to do itself justice. After playing around with them for awhile, I decided they needed some kit-bashing--both for Gothic features, and for sturdiness. Signed up for workshops and everything. The showpiece in this room is the bed by June Clinkscales. (Bottom part of trim does not fit in slots.). Informality? Not to mention, make it easier to fit furniture in there! Dont lift the dollhouse to look at it or it may fall off.

I built out the dining room foundation, creating a platform for the greenhouse. 2nd Floor Bedroom (Note the cross stitched rug and lamp shade made from a cupcake liner.). Also, too, between our mountains of laundry, my son's seemingly endless need for storage and my need for natural light, we thought a temporary move upstairs would be best. Which I of course will share! I placed this toolbox on top of the chair. I started by removing all the old wallpaper and flooring. I finally have a place to display all the food Ive collected! It can be used with LED lights (the black and red posts where wires can be placed), or simply screwed into the tape (which is what I did). Bracke. 
Somehow, the platform ended up being too short. Kitchen is still empty. Thejardinireseen on the far right is a copy of one also from an English miniature magazine. One is on its way from Sue Cook Miniatures; I'll decide when I have them to compare side by side. I also replaced the floor with a vintage tile printe. For now, I closed up the hole in the roof and repapered the ceiling. The staircases and partitions will not fit right. I still need to finish the staircase opening, add an extra step, and a few other details before I glue it in. I decided to proceed finishing this house from the bottom up, which means finishing the garage first. It was a challenge! All the panel pieces are the same size except for the middle of the front bay window, which is longer than the others. Thats it for now. I used a drawer from my craft cart to put them all in downstairs. greenleaf 3rd Floor Nursery and Center Hall (Note Caco doll on left). Instead of using lead tape to make the panes, however, I'll be using copper. I went back to my own Windows Tutorial (link below) and did a custom-made window. Now everything I need, including the dollhouse sheets, are in one area, so I will be better organized. Plan on plenty of time sanding and filling in defects with wood putty, a trick I only discovered after building several Greenleaf kit houses. I can't decide whether I want to make that up to go here, or whether I'm putting in a wall fountain. This will keep the cover from sliding around as Im working with the dollhouse and it also protects the edges of the table. Anyway, moving on My "Haunted Beacon Hill" is also moving up in the world. Perfect glue for dollhouse shingles and siding! This structure has to be perfect. It came well packaged, accurate contents, and now I'm working on the build. This is the most recent picture of the interior. I need to do more trimming on the bottom. Six beautiful bay windows make the interior wonderfully bright and spacious. The bedroom. Home had somehow, over time, become Massachusetts. They are using the Greenleaf name. This method will let you make any window for any size of opening. I was ridiculously pleased with myself that, ultimately, everything did go together more or less the way it was supposed to. I also put them in sequential order for easier location.
