As far as I know dados are not recommended for radial arm saws for safety reasons. My best advice would be to look on craigslist or such for an older "contractor" style saw (has the open base).

The arbor is too small to accept one safely, but you could get away with (dare I say it) a wobble dado.Then again, you can go the router route, or make your dado or rabbet in multiple passes with a regular saw blade (and a little bit of clean up with a chisel), -- I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it.
