If the LE had ALL new illustrations, then I probably would have ordered, however churning out pretty much the same illustrations devalues a LE. . I've been umming and ahhing over this since yesterday, even had it in my cart this morning. Normally LEs are sent by courier, and even reach this side of the world in ten days, but Dune was sent untracked standard post and arrived in the big white Spanish post bag despite paying a premium fee for a LE to be shipped by courier - disappointing. 750 usd after shipping is crazy. Weve been waiting months to see a (moving) look at Denis Villeneuves. I have the stabdard edition which i love. The essay collection, meanwhile, features work by Michael Dirda and Brian Herbert (Frank Herberts son), alongside a double-sided fold-out map redrawn by Weber.
