Overall, we had a great experience with the Grand Bohemian hotel and their staff. If anybody has an affinity with exposed wood , Norfolk Hall is the PERFECT place to bring a bit of an industrial feel to your wedding. It's a much more intimate setting than a big hall. Right away, I knew this was the place! We got a moment just the two of us to look at each other and fully appreciate what was happening.

:). setting was absolutely perfect, and we got some of my favorite photographs EVER at the bar and on their rooftop. However, about a month out from their scheduled date in December, they decided (due to COVID-19) to postpone until the following year. The day after the wedding, Victor, who is over all housekeeping services helped us look for any little thing that we could save from our wedding. Now, these amazing little moments will never be forgotten. Since it was an early reception (12-4) most people were slowly sipping on the champagne and most of them weren't able to finish it since they were cleared right away. Everyone loved it. Were so grateful for these two for allowing time for quiet within their scheduled day. The space was also gorgeous with artwork all around for our guests to look at and required minimal additional decor from us. ll. Since most of our guests were traveling from out of town, it was so convenient to have our wedding where most of our guests could stay and travel to from the airport. We did get to stay the evening in one of the suites and it was fabulous! We had 90% of our wedding guests travel from all over the United States and I was proud for them to be at such an amazing hotel, Seriously! Guests are sure to be impressed with the original artwork that adorns the hotel walls, as well as the lush decoration of the event scapes, with detailing including silver cove ceilings and custom chandeliers.
Everyone worked really hard to make sure we were happy. Jordans incredible jumpsuit: Rime Arodaky. She answered every single question quickly and made us feel so at ease with everything.. Check out the The Ballantyne Hotel. The 15th floor concierge level was an amazing place for the out of town family get together. After the ceremony, we spent some time wandering around this hip hotel and photographing the newlyweds beaming with joy. The main floor serves as the reception space and you can have your big entrance by descending down the grand staircase.

Old Mill turned open-air pavilion, tall ceilings and wood beams, lots and lot of square footage. The chandeliers are stunning; we had different color lighting for our dinner and dancing; the room was very spacious for our guests but also did not look bare; the dance floor was in a perfect spot, and the staff set up the tables to look great. Our original wedding date was supposed to be September 3, 2011 but we had to move the date to this year and the hotel was more than accommodating. The big open windows provide a ton of natural light throughout the venue and there are several locations on the property that can be used for a wedding ceremony. A river runs behind the mill (it used to power it) and theres a small beach you can cross to reach it and take pictures in front of the falls. When it seemed COVID would still be an issue for our wedding, Haley was so understanding and willing to work with us to reschedule our wedding for a third time.

I didn't get to keep any as souvenirs since I thought we would get the extras back in our suite. We love the uptown setting, the massive glass ceiling, and the two story design. We didn't get asked this question and we had popcorn favors and later found out by my maid of honor that she was told to take the ones on the table because the rest were just going to be thrown out. With a fully equipped kitchen and AV system, alongside a FULL tap room, Triple C is the perfect location if youre thinking of a low key event thats surrounded by Charlottes favorite craft drink .

That really is an issue for them throughout the hotel, as guests can hear each other talking normally in the next room over on multiple levels throughout the hotel, even resulting in us receiving a noise violation the night before my wedding, for calm conversation between my girlfriends and I. Were so excited to continue the celebration next year with all of their amazing friends. My mom and I scouted the place first and then I went with my then fianc to show him the hotel on the inside. The Canopy by Hilton Charlotte Southpark is a relatively new, open ballroom type space, and with 5 spaces available for your use, there are so many possibilities to host your wedding here. Not to be confused with the other location of The Mint Museum on Randolph Road, this venue offers one of the most unique settings and reception spaces all around in an art museum. We did a DJ not a band because we wanted a certain vibe for the music but we did get a drummer which was SO COOL.

The Hornets Nest Ballroom is located on the 16th floor of the hotel and has floor to ceiling windows and access to two private outdoor patios. Every detail is just rightfrom the dress to the reception dcor.

Emily is one of the sweetest brides (EVER) and we loved seeing her reaction to meeting her groom on the hotels terrace. McGill Rose Garden is a private getaway for a small wedding. Absolutely amazing wedding venue. We picked the wall mural for Adam & Emilys tender first look and it was PERFECT. The Morehead Inn is easily accessible from Uptown, and is incredibly gorgeous.
Katie and Jay are the best choice for wedding day photography. Youll also be right next to Suffolk Punch, which can cater all of your beer needs throughout the night! Looking for luxury? Overlooking the bustling city down below, the newlyweds sharing a moment of calm. Then send your guests to the courtyard for the reception which is strung up with lots of market lights and a clear tent top for dancing under the stars! Since the hotel is centrally located, we walked to Urban Flats for dinner and Ember at night to meet up with friends. We're lucky enough to have shot at a lot of these venues, but we wanted to give shout outs to the ones that we haven't as well! that mural is everything!
