Maybe it is. Oil has gotten on the crank and as a result everywhere in the front which is why I need to clean it up to find it. Careful with the oven cleaner!

I do recall the process of soaking new aluminum electronic chassis in a lye solution to impart the fresh aluminum with a nice uniform finish. I had to downstream purple power to get cornstarch off of some houses and rinsed and rinsed and rinsed It worked awesome to clean the house, but like mentioned above dont let it stay there.
