If you do this in Large Scale, you can add extra depth and realism by layering window-sills, trim over the windows, doorsteps, another layer of depth to the top trim, and so on. The best effect can be achieved by layering a smaller scale building behind a larger one ( N scale behind HO) with a small spacer between them this gives a forced perspective and when viewed from an angle you can see behind the front building.
