Unfortunately, we dont know the answer to that. Is there a shorter extension tube that allows to work from a sitting position? The Omni-glide has a vary narrow extension connection, such that there is nothing else compatible with it in Dysons line up (even the slim V-series versions are too big). Some models simply dont play well with others, namely the Dyson V6 (and anything older than the V6).

I have two Dysons: a V8 and a V10.

Dyson V6 attachments are also incompatible with the V8, V10, V11, and V15.

VC / V-series vacuum parts are not compatible with DC series vacuums.

If you cannot find a 3 prong roller somewhere you will simply need a new machine.

Each V-series has a specialized design (except V7 / V8, which are more or less the same), so youll need the appropriate wall mount. I need adaptor to fit with my dyson v8 absolute. The older machines dont have adequate power (in many cases) to operate the newer cleaning heads.

I too am having a hard time finding the V7 Direct Drive brushroll, but the V8 Direct Drive brush will work exactly the same.

I appreciate that they are a smaller a diameter, but having two sets of tools is also bonkers. However, it is not actually the same.
