There's so much dust that I try to hold the pieces closed ot the window to see, it starts to eat up the film. Paint the inside silver, if it isn't already. In addition, bead blasting can be used as a means to clean pools and is used by many auto body shops as a way to remove old paint from a motor vehicle.
I did replace the window with a Plexi glass and resealed the top.
If you are really frugal duct tape about 2/3 of it and pull another 1/3 off when the first 1/3 is too hard to see.
The wrap will last longer than you might imagine and sticks to the plexi-glass quite well then when it does start to get cloudy and sag in the middle just replace it with another piece. It may not display this or other websites correctly.

TP tools sells the covers. Hold the nozzle a couple of inches from the glass, and initiate the air and particle flow through the nozzle by either pulling the trigger or stepping on the foot pedal, depending on your particular setup.
Obviously, the dimensions of the cabinet dictate the maximum dimensions of the glass piece you can blast.
Use a slow, deliberate back and forth motion as you blast across the piece until the entire surface has been blasted. It is very simple to open the slots, and slide the glass through, stopping to close the slots and blast a new area as it enters the cabinet.
It looks like sand to me. If you think I can afford the $7 to build that filter system get one of these from Lowes etc.
I figure it's cheaper to replace the glass like Bruce mentions.

No matter how large a cabinet you purchase, Murphy's law of glass etching says that your next job will probably be for a piece of glass that is too big for it!

The other hand is covered by the glove keeps cleaner, because the abrasive doesn't get all over it while you are blasting. Didn't help any. When the back side of a piece is sandblasted it will have a dusty, frosted appearance. There is never enough light in these dusty cabinets, and Ive found that a second one is helpful.
I'm also using the window protector covers. I'll try both.
I usually use the LED light for best results.

I was really wanting to know if there was some real benefit from buying the TP Tools Vac 40 for 300$ vs using my steel canister Shop Vac. Had them cut 12 plates up at a time and just change out the glass after it gets bead blasted.
