Throughout her life in active ministry, Sister Elizabeth Ann served as a teacher, principal, and director of religious education programs for children and adults. Her mother died when she was four years old. Among the people of Nicaragua, Sister Dolores was beloved as a devoted and creative teacher and catechist, often mentoring young teachers. She soon extended her counseling ministry to include individual adults and married couples. in Reading, as well as having taken additional courses at Duquesne.
