Tacos Sahuayo is a perfect example of a locals spot, nowhere near the Centro or any hotel. Located in the small town of Ixtapa (~20min north of downtown Puerto Vallarta), La Tienda Grande opened its doors in February 2021. Its a fine-dining experience, and the attention to detail is unmatched by other restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. The fried chicken is their specialty, and wow, it tastes incredible.
